CONCUSSION TRAINING (REQUIRED FOR ALL COACHES)
The State of Ohio requires ALL COACHES plus anyone working with kids in a youth sports organization to have Concussion Training.
All will be required to:
Take this course: CDC Concussion training
You will need to create an account, but the courses are free.
Save and Print certificate
submit to NRYSA Secretary [email protected].


Concussion certification is good for 3 years. If you have completed this training within the last 3 years please send in your certificate to Carla Corbin and you will not have to re-watch the course.

LINDSAY'S LAW (REQUIRED FORM FOR ALL COACHES, PARENTS, AND PLAYERS)

The State of Ohio also requires ALL PARENTS, COACHES, AND PLAYERS to follow Lindsay's Law; which covers sudden cardiac arrest.
All will be required to:

Lindsay's Law is only good for one year and must be completed annually. If you have completed this training within the last year for another sport please send in your certificate to Carla Corbin and you will not have to re-watch the course.

PROTECTING AGAINST ABUSE IN YOUTH SPORTS TRAINING (REQUIRED FOR ALL COACHES AND UMPIRES OVER THE AGE OF 18)
Senate Bill 534 requires ALL COACHES and UMPIRES over the age of 18 to complete the Protecting Against Abuse in Youth Sports Training.
All will be required to:
Take this course: NFHS Protecting Students From Abuse Training
You will need to create an account, but the courses are free.
Save and Print certificate
submit to NRYSA Secretary [email protected]

Protecting Youth is only good for one year and must be completed annually. If you have completed this training within the last year for another sport please send in your certificate to Carla Corbin and you will not have to re-watch the course.
